About
Over the past 20 years I have taken a range of jobs in the theatre and performance related industries. Often when i'm asked what I do for a living I struggle to give a definitive answer so usually say i'm an actor or theatre director, hopefully this website will go some way to define and track some of my work to date.
Education/Training:
2000 - 1st class BA(hons) Theatre & Media Drama - University of Glamorgan
2002 - Post Grad Diploma in Acting - The Courtyard
2013 - Post Grad Certificate in Higher Education & Learning - University of St Mark & St John

Whilst living in London, I worked for a range of companies mostly as an actor and occassional director, then I moved to the South West of England where I have diversified my practice. Whilst still taking Acting work, I have directed numerous theatre productions, founded Symbiotic Theatre, worked extensively with the Theatre Royal Plymouth as an Associate Artist mostly within the Creative Learning Department, project managed art festivals and tours for the Barbican Theatre, ran numerous workshops for a diverse range of clients, and worked as a lecturer for University of Plymouth, Falmouth University and Plymouth Marjon University.
I wrote and was programme lead for the BA(hons) Acting at the Plymouth Marjon University for its first 6 years and I was Artistic Director of Symbiotic Theatre for 7 years, more recently I have taken more work as an actor trainer and movement director.
I am currently co-director of The Wheel, an associate lecturer at Falmouth University and Visiting Acting coach at Cygnet Drama School, and an Associate Artist for Theatre Royal Plymouth and National Youth Theatre.
You will find more details of my current work and partner organisations in the relevant sections of this website along with weblinks to further work.
