Theatre Practitioning Credits 
 

I have worked as a practitioner and actor trainer for the past 16 years.

​

I am currently Co-Director at The Wheel, an Associate Artist for National Youth Theatre and Theatre Royal Plymouth, Associate Lecturer and Acting Coach for Falmouth University, Plymouth University and Cygnet Drama School.

 

I have led and managed many community focussed projects working with groups of all ages and abilities. I wrote and led on an acting degree for 6 years, training actors. Managed and curated festivals and outdoor performance work for The Barbican Theatre, and was Artistic Director of Symbiotic Theatre for 7 years working on projects to challenge social stigma associated with Mental Health.

Community engaged work includes:

Intergenerational projects - with the Princes Trust,

Reminiscence work - St Georges Hospital with Ladder to the Moon. 
Prison Work - Brixton Prison with LSW.

Disability and inclusion work - establishing the Funky Llama project for Theatre Royal, workshops with Strictly Collaborative, Wheelfever Dance and Proteus Theatre.

Schools work - including leading on forum facilitation related to bullying, sex education, xenophobia and racism, for a number of companies in the South West and London. As well as skills based work in a number of schools and colleges.

Youth Theatre and directing Youth Theatre productions - Theatre Royal Plymouth, Sherman Theatre Cymru, Daisi, Half Moon Theatre, Barbican Theatre, Step Up Theatre.
Skill based workshops and Masterclasses - Physical Theatre, Choreographed Combat, Acting for Camera, Artaud, Stanislavsky, Brecht, Laban, Forum Theatre, Devising, Mask, Clowning, Cross Art Collaboration, Community Practice.
